Certifications

The TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification requires passing the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 1 (OGEA-101) and TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 2 (OGEA-102) exams. The exams can be taken in a Pearson VUE Test Centre or online at Pearson VUE. This course prepares participants for the following official TOGAF certification exam.

TOGAF-Foundation TOGAF-Practitioner

Objective

Overall, TOGAF provides a framework that enables companies to seamlessly integrate business and IT aspects and optimise them so that IT effectively supports business requirements and contributes to the achievement of corporate strategic goals. TOGAF helps to ensure that IT initiatives and investments are aligned with the long-term goals and needs of the organisation. TOGAF places a strong focus on developing the essential capabilities of a digital organisation and aims to improve the efficiency and agility of the organisation.

Target audience

This training is typically aimed at enterprise architects, IT managers, project managers, domain architects and system analysts. The target audience includes people involved in the design, planning, implementation and management of enterprise architectures. TOGAF may also be of interest to people with a business background, especially those who work at the interface between business and IT and who need to make strategic decisions based on a holistic view.

Duration

  • 4 contiguous days on site or online or
  • 2 x 2 days within 2 weeks online

The time for the exam and exam preparation is partially included.

Prerequisites

In general, there are no strict formal requirements. Our TOGAF courses are usually designed to be accessible to people from a variety of backgrounds. However, the following knowledge and experience is typically recommended:

  • Basic knowledge of enterprise architecture
  • An understanding of business processes and structures in organizations
  • Experience in the IT industry or related fields such as software development, systems analysis, project management or IT infrastructure.
  • Interest in the design, planning and management of enterprise architectures.
  • Willingness to gain familiarity with the concepts and methods of TOGAF and to apply them in practice.
